If you downloaded Windows Enterprise or Windows Enterprise LTSC from the Microsoft Evaluation Center, you likely received an Evaluation version. While this is great for testing, Windows Evaluation editions cannot be activated with a standard product key directly.
To fully activate it, you must first convert your Windows Enterprise Evaluation to a full production version.

Step-by-Step: Convert Windows Enterprise Evaluation to Full Version

Follow this simple guide to complete the conversion process:

Step 1: Open the SKUs Folder

First, access the SKUs folder where Windows activation files are located:

• Press Windows + E to open File Explorer.
• In the address bar, type:
  C:\Windows\System32\spp\tokens\skus
• If you installed Windows on another drive, replace C: with your correct drive letter.

Step 2: Update the SKUs Files

You’ll need updated SKU files to proceed:

• Download the latest SKU files (you can find them online).
• Extract the downloaded archive.
• Copy the appropriate folder based on your version:
  • Enterprise (for Windows Enterprise)
  • EnterpriseN (for Windows Enterprise N)
  • EnterpriseS (for Windows Enterprise LTSC)
• Paste the folder into the skus directory you opened in Step 1.
• Click Yes if a permission prompt appears.

Step 3: Run Activation Commands

Now, you’ll use Command Prompt to complete the conversion:

1. Open CMD as an administrator (Right-click → Run as Administrator).
2. Enter the following commands one by one:

cscript.exe %windir%\system32\slmgr.vbs /ckms >nul 2>&1

cscript.exe %windir%\system32\slmgr.vbs /ipk PRODUCTKEY
sc config LicenseManager start= auto & net start LicenseManager
sc config wuauserv start= auto & net start wuauserv

Important: Replace PRODUCTKEY with the correct key based on your version:

• Windows Enterprise: NPPR9-FWDCX-D2C8J-H872K-2YT43
• Windows Enterprise LTSC: M7XTQ-FN8P6-TTKYV-9D4CC-J462D

Step 4: Confirm the Activation

After completing the commands:

• Check your System Information (Right-click This PC → Properties).
• You should now see your Windows edition fully activated and upgraded from Evaluation to the Production version!
